Perspective 2

I believe some of us have fallen into the trap of abandoning our faith (in whatever context). Not as many struggle tirelessly in life to find themselves and all they could be, but many struggle tirelessly in life after choosing comfort as a priority, leading themselves to a life of depression/ anxiety developed from a lack of progressing through shortcomings which end up manifesting later in life as the unsolvable problems seen before them.

It feels like the world is collapsing in on us; through social media, every problem seems more present, as every lie seems more truthful. It’s so easy to wind up lost as we increasingly follow the aimless. It is beautiful to see someone find themselves, or be a part of that process; but what I believe to be greatness, is to embody that process, working towards what you believe in, leaving inspiration and having given a future generation the hunger and wisdom to further your pursuit.

We as a society are far from weak; you can hear our passion in our arguments, see our frustration as progress continues to struggle, feel our love in the personal conversations and interactions with those close to us. So where can this incredible amount of hate, being felt by everyone, be coming from?

I believe it comes from that little device that so easily captivates our attention for hours on end. Constantly overstimulating our minds with the disagreements riddled under so many posts (many of these made by bots); advertisements which are creepily accurate or not the slightest bit relevant, just sitting before us as bare fishing hook;  unqualified people, sometimes straight up frauds, telling anyone how to live life when they have not figured it out themselves.

People always say “it starts at the individual level” and I feel it is incredibly pointless to say this because “work at the individual level” is something that must be inspired in people. Even me writing this, most likely, pointless; the point is to give the people something that could be important/motivating enough to inspire progress at an individual level. This is something rarely done at a massive scale, but as long as little perspectives like this are given, hopefully we can continue to debate and develop a healthier vision for the future.
